$50 Discovery Flight
Your first step towards a future in aviation
Have you ever looked up and dreamt about taking to the skies? Before you do anything else come enjoy a discovery flight to experience first hand the joys of piloting an airplane. This flight gives you an opportunity to see if flying airplanes is for you. A flight given at practically the cost of gas, Flatirons Aero invites you to join our flying club.
This $50 discovery flight will include an overview of the airplane, introduction to the syllabus and half hour flight. This half hour is loggable and the first step toward achieving your goals in aviation. To learn more please fill out an Information Request form. Gift Certificates
A discovery flight gift certificate makes an excellent gift for the friend, co-worker or loved one that has always had an interest in aviation. A gift certificate and brochure will be mailed as soon as payment as recieved. Flatirons Aero accepts cash, check and major credit cards. To learn more please fill out an Information Request form. FAQ
Can more than one person come on the discovery flight?
Yes, although only one person will have the opportunity to sit in the pilot seat and fly the airplane you are welcome to bring a friend along for some sightseeing.
What should I bring?
Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and appropiate footwear. All headsets and other required equipment will be provided. (A camera is always a good idea.)
Where will we go?
The flight will include a short flight around the Boulder area. You will be given the chance to perform climbs, descents and turns. This flight will last a half hour.
