Benefits
A 8 week preparation for the private pilot knowledge test, or as a thorough refresher in a fun group learning environment. After successful completion of the class the student will be prepared to take the FAA Private Pilot Flight exam. An appropiate endorsement will be given to each graduate. Over 30 hours of ground instruction for a fraction of the price. Spend your one-on-one time with your instructor flying instead of lecturing
Syllabus
Week 1:Introduction, FAR Part 1 & 61, Control Surfaces, Aerodynamics, Preflight
Week 2:Communications, Turns, Slips, Traffics Patterns, Aircraft Systems, Stalls
Week 3:Altitude, Ground Reference, Emergency Approach and Landing, Airspace
Week 4:Airspace, Charts
Week 5:Weather Reports, Forecasts, Briefing,Flight Computer
Week 6:Pilotage, Dead Reckoning, Nav Log
Week 7:Radio Navigation, Basic Attitude Instrument Flying
Week 8:Checkride Oral Preparation

All classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-9 PM

Cost
$299 - A $50 Deposit is required to reserve your space, the balance is due the second week of class.
