Google Calendar
Flatirons Aero utilizes Google Calendar for all aircraft and instructor scheduling. You must have a Gmail account to use this feature. A Gmail account is free and only takes a few minutes to set up. Information on creating a Gmail account can be found here. Below are the instructions for using Google Calendar. Please read them carefully. Having issues with the online application? Scheduling an Appointment
Once you have created your Gmail account, your are ready to schedule Aircraft/Instructor apointments. To create an event:
- Login to Google, select Google Calendar from the top left of the screen
- Click and drag over the selected block of time on the Calendar
- When the prompt comes up include your name as the event title and select edit event details
- Under edit event details select add guests located on the right side of the screen
- Add the appropriate e-mail addresses as guests for each Instructor/Aircraft you would like to schedule. A list of the e-mail addresses can be found at the bottom of this page. If you would like to schedule both an Aircraft and an Instructor you must enter BOTH e-mail addresses separated by commas. IF YOU DO NOT ADD THE EMAIL ADDRESSES THE EVENT WILL NOT BE CREATED ON THE AIRCRAFT/INSTRUCTOR CALENDAR
- Add your phone number under event description
- Save the Event
If the event was properly scheduled it will appear on both the Aircraft Schedule and Instructor Schedule page. Reservations are accepted on a first come first serve basis. No personal information will be viewable to the public. All events will show up as "busy" on the Flatirons Aero site. Cancellations are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
